Our History
CLF Alumni was founded in 1990 at the Nigerian Law School in Lagos, primarily to minister to the group of Christ Lovers who were attending the institution for the mandatory one-year post-graduation program. What began as a gathering for this specific group quickly grew to include other CLF graduates beyond the Law School, eventually evolving into a monthly fellowship meeting for all Alumni in Lagos. Barr. Bandele Toyo served as the first President of the CLF Alumni in 1990.
Over time, CLF Alumni expanded to host regular monthly meetings, reunions, and Annual Dinner and Awards nights. The association also launched scholarship and support programs for students facing challenges at the Home Fellowship, organized blood donation campaigns in partnership with the Lagos State Government, visited motherless babies’ homes, and helped establish CLF Alumni chapters in Ibadan, Abuja, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
One of the most successful initiatives in fostering connection and unity has been the use of social media platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram. These platforms have allowed over 400 CLF Alumni members, regardless of their location, to stay in regular contact, creating a strong sense of love and camaraderie. In the near future, we plan to expand our reach by engaging additional platforms, such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and others, to connect with even more alumni.

About Christ Love Fellowship
(aka the ‘Home Fellowship’)
Christ Love Fellowship was founded on Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in April 1985 by two ladies: Kemi Ndieli (nee Santos) and Toyin Okutinyang (nee Jegede), as a campus fellowship with a mandate to spread the message of the love of Christ to the world around it.
Our vision is to actualize Ephesians 4:12 – “For the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ”.
CLF exists to be a place where people can find love and acceptance from God and other people. It is also a training center where our lives are molded and shaped to be all that God has destined us to be. Beyond the Obafemi Awolowo University campus, we currently have fellowship outreaches at the Oduduwa University Ipetumodu and the Centre for Distance Learning, Moro campus.
Over the last three decades, CLF has been privileged to pass through the leadership of 10 Senior Pastors, beginning from Rev. Inyang Okutinyang who served as the first Pastor of the fellowship. The current Senior Pastor is Pastor ……
