Christ Love Fellowship Alumni (CLF Alumni) is an organization composed of alumni of Christ Love Fellowship at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, along with their spouses. The association is officially registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission.
CLF Alumni was created to keep the flame of friendship, service, and excellence burning long after graduation. What began as a group of graduates reconnecting at Strong Tower House, in Palm Grove, Lagos, has grown into a vibrant network of alumni across nations, industries, and generations — united by shared values and a common heritage.
CLF Alumni is guided spiritually by values and dictates of the Word of God. We seek to address the need for spiritually-safe associations that influence the well-being of all members in the areas of their social, emotional, family, career, business, political, financial, and health life.
Our uniqueness is in helping one another to live the realities of our present-day lives victoriously according to the dictates of God’s Word (Bible) while re-enacting and leveraging Agape Love. This love was the fundamental characteristic of our interaction as believers while on Ife Campus.
CLF Alumni is just that – an Alumni association. We are not a church. It is expected that every member of the CLF Alumni belongs to a local Christian Church assembly where they fulfil their fundamental need for spiritual growth, Christian service, prayer, and the Word of God adequately. We will not be drawn into distractions around doctrines, observances, symbolisms, all such that tend to fragment the Body of Christ.
The Alumni body itself serves as a community rooted in spiritual values based on the Word of God. We strive to provide a spiritually safe environment that nurtures the overall well-being of every member, addressing aspects such as social, emotional, family, career, business, political, financial, and health matters.
What sets us apart is our commitment to supporting each other in living out the realities of our everyday lives with victory, in alignment with God’s Word (the Bible), while embracing and demonstrating Agape Love. This love was the foundation of our fellowship as believers during our time at Ife Campus.
CLF is a place where individuals can experience love and acceptance from both God and others. It is also a center for personal growth and spiritual development.
It is important to note that CLF Alumni is an alumni association, not a church. Every member is expected to be part of a local Christian church where they can fulfil their essential needs for spiritual growth, Christian service, prayer, and the study of the Word of God. We remain focused on our mission and will not engage in distractions related to doctrinal differences, rituals, symbols, or anything that may divide the Body of Christ.
